As our new Crew Member you will be responsible for assisting the crew with quality workmanship, truck and trailer cleanliness and machinery, tool, and small equipment care.

If you were working for us, here are some of the things you would have done last week:

• Operate chainsaw winch, drills, and floating devices
• Read and interpret installation manuals, site layout drawings, and contract specifications to perform work activities
• Demonstrate shoreline stewardship with environmental best practices and technical knowledge
• Install and remove aluminum pipe, floating and tower dock systems
• Install boat lifts and marine rail systems
• Perform service work as required, adjusting dock heights or alignment
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required for installations
• Transport materials with dollies, floating devices, and hand lifting/carrying
• Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning

The Details

This is a full-time, seasonal job, working at job sites across the Bruce Peninsula, from Tobermory to Lions Head, Wiarton, Port Elgin, Sauble Beach, Georgian Bluffs, Meaford, and Markdale. Outside of the Dock Service season, there are opportunities to join our Snow department.

Qualifications

We are considering candidates from a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. Ideally, heres what were looking for:

• Willingness to grow and learn
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment

• You're prepared to work in waves, wind, cold and deep water (dry-suits provided!)
• Youre prepared to work on difficult shoreline access, steep embankments

• Comfortable with power tools and general math problems
• Valid drivers license
