Purpose/goals

Reporting to the Branch Manager the Field Service Supervisor is responsible for leading our service team in the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial windows and doors. The ideal candidate will oversee field operations, ensure quality service, and provide exceptional customer support while managing a team of service technicians.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing technicians/stagers/scheduler (in house and contractors)
  Mentoring employees
• Discipline employees
  Conducting job performance appraisals
• Manage day to day branch workload
• Approve leave/vacation time for employees.
• Address customer's service complaints
• Ensure work completion and compliance with applicable standards, policies, and procedures
• Conduct onsite inspections
• Work with product design engineers to find solution to field issues.
• Report on quality deficiencies from the field to QA and Engineering.
• Implement processes to streamline product flow to the customer.
• Responsible for maintaining the service fleet.

• 3-5 years of experience in window installation, repairs, or service management.
• Experience leading a team of service technicians or installers.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of window systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for window defects, leaks, and hardware issues.
• Familiarity with building codes and industry standards related to windows.
• Working with building envelopes as well, considered a strong asset.
