Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in all aspects of software development, ensuring the creation and maintenance of highly reliable, secure, performant, and scalable cloud-based services.
  • Collaborate with product managers, product owners, software architects, and development teams to translate high-level requirements into incremental product enhancements.
  • Contribute to software design and architecture, leveraging cloud design patterns and applying cloud expertise throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Drive process improvements and deliverables to enhance the teams ability to meet customer needs efficiently.
  • Document and present ideas and solutions clearly and effectively.
  • Work alongside top-tier engineers, mentor others, and be open to learning.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by experimenting with cutting-edge cloud technologies.
  • Deliver high-quality, scalable code that impacts millions of users.
  • Make critical technical decisions that shape the future of the product.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 8 years of experience in Software Development of scalable services.
  • Expertise in Java and Node.js programming
  • Experience consuming, and designing REST APIs.
  • Experience building apps on AWS using services such as CloudFront, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, IAM, EC2, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with Terraform for continuous delivery
  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving in a customer-facing production environment
  • Experience defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Circle CI/Spinnaker, etc.).
  • Experience implementing unit and integration tests.
