Position Type: Full time, Permanent

Location: Edmonton, Alberta - South Edmonton

Work Schedule: 4 on / 4 off Rotation

Position Overview

Velocity Truck Centre Canada, formally known as First Truck Centre, is looking for a Service Advisor in our Edmonton South dealership. Primary Job Functions

  • Welcome and assist customers, addressing their service needs.
  • Communicate repair recommendations clearly, including costs and timelines.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently and prioritize service orders.
  • Coordinate with the service team for timely repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and repair orders.
  • Prepare invoices, process payments.
  • Collaborate with service technicians and parts staff for smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers clearly.
  • Previous experience as a service advisor within the automotive or heavy-duty truck industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck mechanics, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software used for scheduling appointments, generating invoices, and maintaining records.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service experiences.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with service technicians, parts department staff, and other dealership personnel.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
