Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Route Optimization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing routes for our transportation network, with the goal of reducing costs, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze existing routes and identify opportunities for optimization, using data and analytics tools.

-Use route optimization software to design and implement new routes that reduce mileage, lower costs, and improve on-time delivery.

- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date data on routes, including traffic patterns, road closures, and other factors that impact route efficiency.

- Work closely with operations, logistics, and transportation teams to implement optimized routes and ensure seamless execution.

-Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, mileage, and fuel consumption to measure the effectiveness of optimized routes.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize route planning and execution.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or operations research.

-2+ years of experience in route optimization, logistics, or transportation.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work with large datasets.

-Proficient in route optimization software such as RouteSavvy, RouteXL, or Google Maps.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
