Why this role is significant

This position promotes holistic wellness by nurturing the body, mind, and spirit. As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will provide specialized treatments to enhance relaxation, assist with injury recovery, alleviate pain, and improve mobility. Using your expertise and emotional intelligence, you will tailor therapies to each clients unique needs, ensuring a rejuvenating and transformative experience.

We are seeking both part-time and full-time Registered Massage Therapists to join our team. Flexible shifts are available daily from 9am to 9pm, offering a variety of scheduling options to suit your availability.

A day in the life

• Welcome guests warmly and deliver courteous, professional service throughout their treatment.
• Conduct personalized assessments and create tailored treatment plans to meet each guest's specific needs.
• Provide high-quality therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments with a focus on individual wellness goals.
• Build meaningful connections with guests by understanding their wellness objectives and delivering exceptional service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting treatment environment that aligns with our spas high standards.
• Stay informed about best practices, techniques, and advancements in massage therapy to continuously enhance your skills.
• Collaborate with a team of talented wellness professionals to deliver a seamless and cohesive guest experience.
• Promote additional spa services and products to elevate guest satisfaction and support their overall wellness journey.
• Educate guests on self-care practices, home exercises, and the benefits of retail products to extend the impact of their treatment.
  

What we hope you'll bring to the team

• A professional and connection-oriented demeanour, with a strong aptitude for working collaboratively within a wellness-focused business.
• An understanding of how aligning with a guest's energy enhances their experience and the importance of creating an ideal spa environment.
• A high level of self-awareness, enabling open and effective communication.
• Exceptional decision-making skills and attention to detail that reflect a genuine, caring approach.
• Certification in Registered Massage Therapy from an accredited and recognized massage school in British Columbia. Alternatively, the ability to provide governing body credentials and complete a Certified Prior Learning Assessment (CPLA) to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills.
• Experience with body treatments and wraps is considered an asset.
  

What's in it for you

• We offer a flat-rate commission structure, ranging from $76 for a 60-minute treatment to $114 for a 90-minute treatment, along with additional tips. Full-time RMTs can earn up to $125,000 annually in commission, with an additional $20,000 per year in tips.
• $1,000 signing bonus awarded after completing three months of full-time employment as an RMT.
