D&G Landscaping is a commercial landscaping and heavy civil construction company based in Greely, Ontario. We are proud to have worked on some of the largest landscape construction projects in our nation's capital.Our projects include Parliament (West Block & Centre Block), Lansdowne Park, Rideau Street, Elgin Street, multiple OLRT Stations to name just a few.

Our organization is growing and looking to add a Shovel Operator/Heavy Equipment Operator to our team. If you're a hard working, reliable individual that enjoys the outdoors and working with their hands, this could be a wonderful opportunity for you!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Earth moving and grading in a hard rock mining environment.
• Loading haul trucks.
• Assist in completing commercial projects
• Willing to help ground personnel when required.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient delivery/placement of materials.
• Adhere to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards.
• Showcase your exceptional judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate your versatility by collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience operating an excavator
• Demonstrated expertise with technical specifications, grade plans, building roads, lifts, dam raises.
• Worked on all types of ground conditions, including soft ground and hard rock.
• GPS experience would be an asset
