Our client is currently looking for an experience Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of companies projects. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations and involves managing all aspects of operations, from project planning and scheduling to resource management, budget control, and team coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen ability to streamline processes to ensure project success.Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all cleaning activities in a designated area
- Manage and monitor the day to day operations of ongoing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise site supervisors and other field staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Maintain control and inventory management of all companies cleaning equipment
- Oversee the planning and allocation of resources, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, to optimize productivity and minimize delays.
- Ensure that projects stay within budget, track expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to and maintain compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and company policies
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure all projects meet quality control standards ad client specifications
- Negotiate budgets with cleaning personnel for piecework projects
- Manage workloads through effective workforce planning including optimizing available cleaners and identifying requirements for additional headcount
- Serve as the primary point of contract for clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams; ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- All other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years experience in either window cleaning, glazing, or construction: working at heights experience is an asset
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising the work of teams of 4-8 personnel
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and safety regulations are considered an asset
- Strong team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Project management experience
- Team-plater mindset and willingness to collaborate
- Proven ability to effectively negotiate
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organization, and reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)
- Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office and learn new programs
- Mandatory Working at Heights is an asset

- Supervising the team of cleaners working over 30 feet on a regular basis
- Ability to clime stairs and ladders
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs ( 25kg) on a regular basis
