We are seeking a Kinesiologist or Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. This role is for a movement expert who understands rehabilitation, functional performance, and strength development, thriving in a collaborative, high-performance environment. Availability: Flexible - days, evenings, weekends (Full-time or Part-time)
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive movement assessments to identify mobility restrictions, strength imbalances, and functional limitations.
- Design and implement return-to-sport and post-rehabilitation training programs tailored to individual needs.
- Work closely with strength specialists, physiotherapists, and rehab professionals to ensure seamless progression from rehabilitation to performance training.
- Utilize force plates, isometric testing, and biomechanical assessment tools to analyze movement efficiency and optimize client outcomes.
- Educate clients on injury prevention, movement mechanics, and recovery strategies.
- Maintain detailed client records, progress tracking, and data-driven programming.
- Participate in team case reviews, continuing education sessions, and research initiatives to stay at the forefront of rehabilitation and movement science.
We Are Looking for the Following on Your Resume:
- Registration with the Alberta Kinesiology Association (AKA) is required.
- University degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Experience in rehabilitation, return-to-play protocols, or movement coaching is preferred.
- Strong foundation in movement assessment, corrective exercise, and injury prevention.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (Jane App preferred) and communication tools (Gmail, WhatsApp, etc.).
