Based in Huntsville or North Bay, the Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager will report to the Civil Engineering Lead and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on business development, client and personnel management, and the preparation and review of technical deliverables for clients.
What You'll Do:
As part of the TULLOCH Engineering team, you will:
  • Manage a group of civil engineers and technologists
  • Function as Senior Engineer & Project Manager in all aspects of municipal and land development project delivery including bidding and proposal preparation, project setup, logistics, resource and technical planning and execution, billing and collections, and project budget management
  • Establish new projects and provide project updates to the Civil Engineering Lead and General Manager
  • Actively pursue business development opportunities and procure new clients
  • Manage engineering and design staff in project execution while providing mentorship and direction to your team
  • Complete engineering designs including stormwater management, wastewater conveyance, potable water distribution, earthworks, road design, and transportation
  • Complete, check, and seal technical deliverables including reports, technical notes, drawings, engineering calculations, and permit applications
  • Oversee client relations and engagement, lead client meetings, and ensure client satisfaction

What You Should Bring:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering or a related program. Additionally, you should bring:
  • 10+ years of experience working in the design and management of land development and municipal infrastructure projects
  • P.Eng. licence (required)
  • Knowledge of applicable government submission and review processes and technical standards
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering software
  • Thorough understanding of general engineering concepts, practices, and legislative requirements
  • Experience managing and supervising other professionals
  • High motivation with results-oriented focus
  • Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Unwavering commitment to health and safety in the workplace
  • Valid Class G driver's licence
