At FNTI, we are looking for a Program Manager to help shape hybrid teaching models, blending face-to-face and virtual learning while ensuring that our programs meet accreditation standards and reflect the needs of Indigenous midwifery organizations in Ontario.
This role is an exciting opportunity to lead program development, collaborate with faculty and community partners, and support learners on their educational journey.
What Youll Do:
Program Development & Quality Assurance
- Lead the design and delivery of high-quality hybrid programs that integrate Indigenous Knowledge and pedagogy.
- Work closely with the Dean and accrediting bodies to ensure compliance with IAESC accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Support ongoing curriculum reviews and improvements, ensuring alignment with student and community needs.
- Help integrate learning technologies to enhance course delivery.
Leadership & Administration
- Provide guidance and mentorship to faculty, staff, and cultural advisors.
- Support student success initiatives, ensuring pathways for learning and progression.
- Oversee program operations, including scheduling, budget planning, and resource management.
- Lead collaborative meetings to keep the program team informed and engaged.
Collaboration & Community Engagement
- Work with Indigenous midwifery organizations, community partners, and accrediting bodies.
- Engage with students, faculty, and advisory groups to strengthen curriculum and student support.
- Partner with marketing and recruitment teams to promote programs and attract new learners.
Who You Are:
We are looking for a dedicated leader who is passionate about education, Indigenous health, and program development. You bring:
- Extensive project management experience (at least 3 years, preferably in an Indigenous community-based healthcare setting).
- Knowledge of Indigenous communities and healthcare needs.
- A degree in a relevant field OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage programs, people, and processes effectively.
- Experience in curriculum planning, Indigenous pedagogies, and adult learning principles to create a learner-centered environment.
Conditions of Employment:
- Willing and able to travel on occasions as well as work overtime as required.
- Successful candidates must provide a satisfactory CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Check.
