Logistics Coordinator
Maxxis International, the Canada division of a global tire manufacturer, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our office located in Brampton, Ontario. This position will work with management daily to ensure error-free shipments. If you are passionate about working in a dynamic logistics environment, then weve got the job for you.
Responsibilities:
Transfer orders from EDI to SAP to ensure purchases and inventory level are planned accordingly
Process purchase orders and import documents into SAP
Manage all customs paperwork for shipments
Monitor status of shipments through cargo tracking
Provide analysis/information to sales team to support the customer service experience
Generate and update shipping status reports
Monitor status of factory booking arrangements
Analyze, check, and monitor usage and fulfillment of allocations
Assist with maintaining and negotiating shipping contracts, to include researching, monitoring and analyzing vendors
Assist with troubleshooting/coordinating with ocean carriers on various issues
Monitor local and global supply chain status
Other relevant duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination is required
- SAP or other Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
