Established in 1951, Farmer Construction is a privately-owned family business which has collaborated extensively in the development of Vancouver Island communities and skyline. CURB & GUTTER DIVISION

- CONCRETE FINISHERS, FOREPERSONS & LABOURERS
VICTORIA, BC

Duties

• Ability to read grade stakes and elevations
• Setting string line to proper elevations
• Setting forms for handform curb and sidewalk
  
• Placing and pouring concrete for curbs and sidewalks
• Finishing concrete for curbs and sidewalks
  
• Screeding and bull floating
  

Physical Requirements

• Able to work alone, or as part of a team
• Able to travel within the Greater Victoria Area and/or Vancouver Island.
• Work is physically demanding
• Hardworking and able to accept direction from a Supervisor
• Ability to work exposed to the elements

Qualification Requirements

• One (1) year + concrete set up, pouring, placing and finishing experience
  
• Knowledge in trade related math, volumes and areas
