Responsibilities:
General Skills:
- Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support at the specified experience level
- Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications
- Experience in design, code, test, debug and document applications
- Experience in the use of object and/or third generation language development tools
- Experience in one or more programming languages
- Experience in application design, latest design patters, deployment and troubleshooting
- Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies
- Experience in the use of information retrieval packages using query languages
- Experience with one or more communications protocols
- Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications
- Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts

- Proficient with both front end and back end development, including any associated areas such as database design/management and DevOps
- Knowledge and experience with design and implementation of the overall web architecture

- Knowledge and experience ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
- Knowledge and experience with the design and construction of REST API services
- Knowledge and experience integrating front-end UI with the constructed API
- Knowledge and experience in design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
- Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
- Experience with middleware and gateways
- Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, debugging
- Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues
- Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards

- 5 yr+ Demonstrated experience in J2EE JAVA-based software development.
- 5 yr+ Demonstrated experience using Apache Ant, Maven, Tomcat, JavaScript, XML, Json, WebLogic or WebSphere application server, Oracle DB, SQL, jUnit
- 3 yr+ Demonstrated development experience in Mirative C ram Social Program Management platform. C ram V7 Certified Developer, Preferred
- Must have experience with SOAP and RESTful Web Service, Messaging, SFTP and other system integration technologies
- Must have hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, Git, Git Pull Request, branching
- Knowledge of Spring framework, Spring Boot, Swagger-UI, Postman, PL/SQL, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud are strong asset
Knowledge of Methodologies - 15%
- Working knowledge of SDLC and the Agile development methodology.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with RDBMS design concepts.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying risk and providing solutions.
