This is an entry level position that will be at our McKeough Supply (HVAC) location in London, Ontario.

As a Strategic (Sales) Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a 5 phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, account management and everything in between.
Additional duties will include:
Phase 1 - Warehouse Logistics
- Physically work in our warehouse, learn the products we sell (heating and cooling), how they get from our vendors to our customers (local Heating and Cooling businesses) and learn the core basics of our wholesale distribution business.
Phase 2 - Customer Service, Counter Sales and Operations
- Get involved in our customer service (answering phones, emails, serving customers at the counter), order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, business analytics, and much more…
Phase 3 - Inside Sales and Project Management
- Go from helping customers with reactive product and service issues to managing larger-scale projects and becoming more proactive and focusing on growing our current customer accounts.
Phase 4 - Outside Sales and Account Management
- Learn how to find new business opportunities, sell our products, negotiate contracts, and build customer and vendor relationships.
Phase 5 - In this phase, you can take all of your training and determine your ideal career path.
Qualifications- College and/or University degree
- Business and/or Mechanical backgrounds preferred
- Positive attitude and results oriented mindset
- Desire to continuously learn and grow
- Outgoing personality with a sales and marketing background
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, Google Search, and ability to learn various software
- HVAC knowledge is a bonus but not required - you'll have unlimited learning opportunities.
- Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Clean drivers abstract and willingness to drive company vehicles as needed.
- Health, Safety and Wellness oriented, with ability to wear PPE (safety shoes, hi visibility, etc).
Additional Information
Salary Range: $40-50,000 (plus comprehensive benefits and profit sharing).
