THE ROLE
If you have experience as a Hydraulic Technician, we have an exciting opportunity for you! You'll be able to work alongside a team in a great manufacturing plant located in Hamiltons north end. The plant is experiencing growth and is very busy at the moment, so you'll have the chance to contribute to the team's success. The job is on the day shift and is ideal for those looking for a medium-sized manufacturing plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary contact for customers with hydraulic issues, providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Diagnose and resolve hydraulic system problems in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain records of customer interactions and solutions provided.
- Assemble hydraulic systems and components according to engineering specifications and assembly instructions.
- Ensure all assembled systems meet quality standards and operational requirements.
- Perform comprehensive testing of hydraulic systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Identify and address any issues or malfunctions during the testing phase.
- Document test results and maintain accurate service records.
- Work closely with the engineering team to identify areas for improvement in hydraulic systems
- Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance system performance and reduce production costs.
- Participate in engineering design reviews and contribute technical expertise. Process Improvement
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce hydraulic system assembly and servicing costs
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in hydraulic technology.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of hydraulic experience in an industrial setting
- General knowledge of hydraulic components, including mounting and operation
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic system components, assembly processes, and testing procedures.
- Experience with hydraulic troubleshooting and repair technique
- Ability to make sound decisions
- Effective problem-solving skills
