As we grow, we are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help execute our marketing strategy during a 15-month parental leave coverage.


Role Overview

This role is best suited for a marketing professional with experience in service-based industriesbonus points if you have worked in home services, though its not essential. Were looking for someone who has hands-on experience across multiple marketing channels, is adaptable, a self-learner, and an excellent communicator.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing elements of the companys marketing strategy, as set out by our internal Marketing Strategist. You must be able to balance multiple projects, proactively solve problems, and effectively communicate with both internal teams and external partners.


Work Environment

The role of Marketing Coordinator at Ferguson Moving and Storage is fast-paced and collaborative, with a strong focus on organization and creativity. The role involves working closely with the sales and operations teams to develop marketing campaigns, manage social media content, and coordinate promotional efforts. The office fosters a professional yet dynamic atmosphere where strategic thinking and problem-solving are encouraged. With a mix of independent tasks and team-driven projects, the position requires adaptability and attention to detail to support the company's branding and customer engagement efforts effectively. Proven ability to work independently and remotely is a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities


Social Media & Digital Presence

Create and schedule social media content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok

Keep our Google Business Profile updated and respond to Google reviews to maintain a strong online reputation

Create and manage Mailchimp email communications



Marketing Coordination & Internal/External Communications

Serve as the main point of contact for our marketing agency and outsourced services, ensuring smooth execution of:

Blog content (strategy set in advance, produced by the agency).

Website updates (coordinating required changes with the agency).

Google Ads adjustments (tracking performance and ensuring alignment with business goals).

Track marketing expenses to ensure activities stay within budget, communicating with internal stakeholders on adjustments as needed

Coordinate the delivery of new marketing print materials as required


Analytics & Reporting

Consolidate weekly and monthly marketing analytics from social media, website traffic, and advertising performance.

Present analytics to leadership, although you will not be required to make large strategic recommendations.



Skills & Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in a marketing role.

Experience in services-based industries preferred (home services industry experience is a plus).

Strong understanding of social media management and scheduling.

Experience with Google Business Profile and responding to customer reviews.

Basic knowledge of Google Ads and SEO (ability to liaise with an agency and track performance).

Strong communication skills for internal and external collaboration.

Proven ability to work independently; naturally resourceful.

Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay organized.

Self-learner and proactive researchersomeone who takes initiative and continuously improves their skills on their own volition.
