- Source and process purchase orders efficiently for service work, projects, and customer needs, ensuring accuracy in details and allocations.
- Work closely with suppliers to obtain competitive quotes, confirm lead times, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Manage supplier relationships to address issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure quality standards
- Handle return orders for unused parts and materials with suppliers
- Verify and approve invoices to ensure details align with purchase orders and supplier agreements.
- Manage freight invoices, ensuring accurate charges and appropriate allocation.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of commonly used parts and materials.
- Review weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and address discrepancies.
- Coordinate inventory transfers, returns, and restocking procedures.
- Track and manage tools and equipment assets to ensure accountability and maintenance.
- Provide accurate quotes and availability updates to internal teams and customers.
- Collaborate with project managers and service teams to identify procurement needs and source appropriate materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or parts management, ideally in construction, Oil & Gas, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in procurement processes, software, and tools.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices; familiarity with construction materials and equipment preferred.
