- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience (manufacturing environment experience is an asset)
- Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws and HRIS systems (experience with UKG is a plus)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues professionally
- Handle full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and Health & Safety training for new hires
- Collaborate with management on employee relations, performance management, and engagement programs
- Administer employee benefits and maintain accurate HR records in HRIS systems
- Conduct audits, ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, and manage workers' compensation claims
- Primarily office-based with occasional work in refrigerated warehouses or greenhouses
- Temperature variations and occasional loud environments due to machinery operation
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds)
- Hours of work may vary based on business needs, with some travel required
