Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience (manufacturing environment experience is an asset)
• Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws and HRIS systems (experience with UKG is a plus)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues professionally

Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and Health & Safety training for new hires
• Collaborate with management on employee relations, performance management, and engagement programs
• Administer employee benefits and maintain accurate HR records in HRIS systems
• Conduct audits, ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, and manage workers' compensation claims

Work Environment:

• Primarily office-based with occasional work in refrigerated warehouses or greenhouses
• Temperature variations and occasional loud environments due to machinery operation
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds)
• Hours of work may vary based on business needs, with some travel required
