The Chase Restaurant Group is a passionate team dedicated to hospitality, exceptional food, and creating memorable experiences. Known for The Chase, our renowned fine dining restaurant on the fifth floor of the historic Dineen Building, we are excited to introduce a new casual dining concept on the ground floor, opening in Spring 2025. This new space will offer a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere where both regulars and new guests can enjoy outstanding service and quality dining.

ROLE SUMMARY

Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, the Porter is responsible for keeping the dish area clean and organized. This includes maintaining glassware, cutlery, dishes, and all kitchen tools and equipment, drying and storing items in the appropriate areas and disposing of waste and recycling properly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• High level of professionalism during peak service hours.
• Maintain an organized kitchen by managing dishwashing duties.
• Keep dishwashing stations and equipment clean, sanitized, and in proper working condition.
• Support kitchen staff by providing clean tools, equipment, and workspace.
• Efficiently manage time to complete tasks.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1-2 years experience as a porter or similar position in an equivalent restaurant.
• Passionate about food and hospitality, committed to delivering great guest experiences.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work long-standing shifts and perform physical tasks like lifting and pushing.
• Flexible to work full-time hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
