Start Date: ASAPJob Summary:The Hay Hauler is responsible for transporting, storing, and distributing hay and feed to ensure the llamas have a consistent and adequate food supply. This role involves loading and unloading hay bales, maintaining storage areas, and ensuring feed quality while following safety and handling procedures.Key Responsibilities:
- Load, transport, and unload hay bales to designated storage and feeding areas.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage to prevent spoilage and maintain hay quality.
- Monitor hay supply levels and report when restocking is needed.
- Assist in distributing hay to feeding stations according to scheduled feeding times.
- Perform basic maintenance on hay storage areas to keep them clean and organized.
- Follow all safety guidelines for lifting, hauling, and operating equipment.
- Experience in farm work, feed handling, or livestock care is an asset.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy hay bales repeatedly.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of feed storage and handling best practices.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
