Nova Paving (Sask) Ltd. is a well-established construction company based in Regina, Saskatchewan working in the heavy civil construction industry. We are looking for hard-working, highly motivated individuals for the role ofSkid Steer Operator/Labourer.Reporting to the Site Foreman and Project Management Team, this position is responsible for operating heavy equipment as well as doing any labour work required in a safe and appropriate manner consistent with company values, policies and procedures.The position runs annually from May to November and we are hiring now for the upcoming 2025 season!

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation.
  
• Must be reliable, punctual and possess a positive attitude.
• Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
• Able to work as a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers, ensuring all tasks are being completed in a safe and timely manner.
• Must be able to lift /move items weighing up to 23kg (50lbs).
• Experience working on water mains, driveways, sidewalks/curbs, and road/bridges will be considered an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check equipment before operating to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency components are in good working order.
  
• Load/unload construction materials.
• Mix/pour/spread various materials.
  
• Thoroughly inspect tools and equipment daily.
• Perform a large variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labour.
• Ensure that any debris caused by loading/unloading of equipment is cleaned up.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all rules and regulations set forward by foremen.
• Other various construction related tasks as instructed.
