Summary of Responsibilities:
The Pricing & Promotions Manager will be responsible for the development and deployment of the channel harmonization policy for our National Brands and promotional offerings to our channel partners. This will include our pricing strategies across channels that deliver top line sales, operating profit and inventory metric objectives.

Key Job Responsibilities:
National Promotions
- Working closely with US team, develop and execute the strategy, tactics and programs / promotions to create interest which drive demand and recognition within designated channels for EGO, SKIL and FLEX in Canada, following Brand strategies for North America but customized for Canadian market requirements.
- Manage and determine key data analytics that create optimizing promotional strategies.
- Attend product line reviews with major channel partners to strategize and present Chervon's national and channel specific strategies.
- Develop and maximize strategic relationships, direct, event and online marketing to create maximum width of distribution within the channel.
- Analyze, track PO, inventory, market share and competitive landscapes.
- Align with product marketing and management to ensure the right selection, positioning and pricing strategy for current products and impactful launches within channel.
- Work cross functionally with the brand business management (BBM) team and senior leadership teams to create and develop financials.
- Determine price repositioning or strategies to stimulate sales and maximize profitability (CTG).
- Develop pricing files for all brands, including MSRPs; troubleshoot anomalies.
- Maintain all Channel price files and develop margin proformas based on business plan.
- Monitor online marketplaces via third party vendor to protect the integrity of our brands in the digital space.
- Works closely with marketing, back-end teams and senior leadership on price increases and tariffs imposed.
- Coordinates all product repositioning with appropriate teams.
- Align with front-end teams in Canada and back-end teams in Nanjing, China on direction, changes, alignment.
- Works closely with sales and finance teams to manage listings to maximize sales and profitability via mix management, promotional opportunities and pricing actions.
- Work with channel/customer to identify, develop, commercialize and implement channel/customer specific programs – channel promotions, strategic programs, events, marketing materials, etc.
- Develop, present and execute key New Product commercial strategies and tactical initiatives for channel.
- Review financial and discuss channel conflicts and work through solutions.
- Implement needed product marketing, creative services and advertising to support channel customers and drive demand within channels; aligned with brand strategies and supported by Sales team.
- Work effectively with demand and supply planning teams, cross functional teams in Canada and Nanjing, China.
- Manage excess inventory for proper pricing and promotion.

Required Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent and three to five years of proven success as an account manager, product manager or project leader within a corporate retail environment.
- Experience in building and successfully executing new products within the retail environment
- Solid understanding of product development, manufacturing and distribution, pricing and customer service
- Appreciates and thrives within an entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience with sales performance metrics reporting and analytics
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service attitude.
- Team management skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Fluency in key business measures – sales, gross margin, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
- Salesforce experience a plus.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
Travel:
This position requires up to 30% travel, within Canada and the US, and potentially international travel to China on an infrequent basis.
