The Engineering Services team is responsible for the design and commissioning of generating facilities for the Power Production Business Unit. This team manages projects related to new generation and capital upgrades to existing generating facilities and provides engineering support for power plant operation and maintenance activities. The engineer will be integrated into the related Engineering Services discipline group, where they will serve in various roles, including as a Project Lead Engineer and a Project Engineer. As a Project Lead Engineer, the individual will provide technical insight and expertise while performing project management duties to support project delivery. This includes working with and directing other engineering disciplines and consultants as part of a project team. As a Project Engineer, the individual will act as the technical lead, supporting projects and collaborating with sub-consultants, depending on the size and magnitude of the project. This will be for the completion of various capital projects around the province and from the head office in Regina.

Requirements
- Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering with P.Eng designation.
- 8 years of experience in electrical or systems design and equipment specification working with industrial or power generation facilities/equipment.
- Experience in instrument selection, instrument specifications, quality control, and installation design.
- Expertise in DCS, PLC, communications, programming, networks, protocols, analog & digital control, I/O database development, cabinet design, security & camera systems, fire detection systems, and factory acceptance testing.
- Knowledge and experience with switchgear, MCC, transformers, cabling, cable tray, motors, panel design, arc flash & power flow analysis, grounding design, lighting, MV & LV power distribution, Canadian Electrical Code, and protection design.
- Project management experience, including the development of scopes of work, cost estimates, technical specifications, procurement documents, and bidding evaluations, as well as contract negotiation and management.
- Experience with As-Building, field measurements, construction supervision, commissioning lead, and commissioning support.
