Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of our swimming facility patrons. The successful candidate will be tasked with supervising our aquatic environment and maintaining a vigilant watch over all pool activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid NLS certification
• Valid SFA and CPR-C certification
• Certification in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS): can be obtained on the job once hired.
• Exceptional swimming capabilities
• The capacity to stay alert and vigilant for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities:

• Diligently monitor the pool area to deliver a secure and pleasant environment for all guests
• Enforce all pool rules and safety regulations
• React swiftly and efficiently to any emergencies that may arise
• Manage and adjust pool chemicals, perform water quality tests
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the pool area and associated facilities
• Deliver exemplary customer service to all visitors
