The Role
The Marketing Content Strategist is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness, engage target audiences, and drive business growth. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering impactful marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate is an innovative marketer with experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing strategies. A background in consumer products, outdoor industries, or e-commerce is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Implementation: Develop and execute marketing plans to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
- Content Creation: Manage content production, including photography, video, SEO-optimized blog articles, and compelling product descriptions
- Social Media Management: Create and execute social media strategies to increase engagement, manage platforms, and track performance
- Event Coordination: Plan and organize trade shows, sponsorship programs, and community events to enhance brand presence
- Public Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to increase brand exposure
- Email & SMS Marketing: Develop and implement campaigns to nurture leads, engage customers, and drive conversions
- Website & E-Commerce Management: Maintain and update website content, analyze traffic, and implement strategies to improve user experience and conversion rates
- Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance metrics, analyze marketing campaign effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of marketing experience
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing tools such as Shopify, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
