GeoSpectrum is growing and we are seeking an Oceans Technologist or Engineering Technologist to join our team. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for preparing for sea trials, marine mammal monitoring, acoustic tank testing, electronics testing, developing & deploying specialized equipment, and analyzing data. Responsibilities

• Prepare and test necessary equipment for sea trials
• Prepare testing plans for various types of calibrations
• Deploy and retrieve specialized equipment (hydrophones, arrays, CTDs, acoustic releases, v-wings, data loggers, & other acoustic devices)
• Analyze calibration data and prepare reports
• Ensure products tested conform to manufacturing specifications
• Manage project builds
• Conduct specialized testing

Qualifications

• Oceans Technology Graduate Certificate or diploma in Engineering Technology
• Detail oriented and well organized
• Competent with Microsoft Word & Excel
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Basic understanding of acoustic principals
• Passionate about Ocean Technologies

Security Requirements
