The Thames Valley Family Health Team (TVFHT) is one of the largest family health teams in Ontario. With more than 115 physicians across 19 sites within London, and Middlesex, Oxford and Elgin counties, the Thames Valley Family Health Team is committed to providing comprehensive inter-collaborative primary health care to over 162,000 patients.

The Operations Assistant contributes to the efficient day-to-day operations of the TVFHT and the attainment of its goals. The Operations Assistant will provide support to the organization's Operations team which includes our Quality Improvement, Finance, Facilities and People Services departments.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary school diploma in office or business administration, or equivalent.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years administrative experience with progressive responsibility; preferably in a healthcare setting/environment
  • Demonstrated experience working as administrative support
  • Advanced experience using Office 365
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions with advanced skills in data analysis
  • Familiarity with budgets and expense tracking
  • Hybrid Work schedule

Skills / Abilities:

  • High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, show initiative, be proactive and work independently
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize competing demands
  • Aptitude for quickly becoming familiar with new technologies and equipment
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and be adaptable
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Hourly Rate: $24.8103 - $30.2564
