We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our Supply Chain team. As the Purchaser, you will be responsible for supporting procurement and buying within the company, including vendor follow-ups, metrics production, and material expediting. You'll have exceptional organizational and time management skills to ensure both company and customer requirements are met in the most efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Vendor Management:Follow up with vendors to check on delivery status and ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Metrics Production:Produce and analyze metrics for the supply chain department to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Material Expediting:Work with project teams to expedite materials and ensure project timelines are met.
• Documentation:Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor communications.
• Communication:Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any issues related to procurement and delivery.
• Support:Assist the Supply Chain Manager with various administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
• Participate in organizational occupational health and safety education, prevention, promotion, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
