Job Description

How You'll Make an Impact:

As the District Manager for our Healthcare business segment, you will provide strategic operational leadership, direction, and guidance to a regional team across multiple healthcare sites. You will act as the primary representative for client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, operational excellence, and business growth. This role will oversee financial performance, compliance, health and safety initiatives, talent development, and strategic partnerships, with a focus on delivering exceptional service in healthcare environments.

Operational Leadership & Client Partnership:

  • Provide operational leadership to healthcare accounts, ensuring consistent service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients, fostering strong partnerships and participating in regular service reviews and contract negotiations.
  • Drive client retention and business growth initiatives through collaboration with sales and support teams.
  • Ensure alignment with client business plans and contractual obligations, delivering innovative solutions that add value.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee regional financial performance, including budget creation, expense management, and revenue growth.
  • Analyze financial data to make informed decisions and recommendations that align with business objectives.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to financial budgets, identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings.

People & Talent Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach site leadership teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement long-term talent development plans to support business growth.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback, including regular performance evaluations and succession planning.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Promote and uphold a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with company, client, and government health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Support operational sites in maintaining quality assurance and safety standards across all services.

Business Growth & Innovation:

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and service enhancements to improve operational performance and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to support growth initiatives and new business proposals.
  • Build and maintain sustainable relationships with community partners and stakeholders where applicable.
Qualifications

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum 5 years of multi-site operational leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
  • Registered Dietitian or member of Canadian Society of Nutrition Management
  • Internal and external retail brand experience is an asset
  • Proven experience managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills with a focus on delivering client-centric solutions.
  • Experience managing unionized environments and negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region.
