Expedition Expectations

As a key member of the Direct Travel team, the Branch supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and staff of the Agency. This role combines sales expertise, customer service excellence, and ongoing professional development, with Branch Supervisors ensuring efficient operations, driving sales, and delivering outstanding travel advisory services within their branch.

Management and Leadership

• Supervise, train, and develop branch staff
• Schedule employees and manage work assignments

Operations

• Oversee daily branch operations and customer service
• Schedule and facilitate supplier in-person meetings
• Manage inventory and supply orders
• Oversee daily branch operations
• Support branch administrative functions

Sales and Client Relations

• Provide leisure travel sales by building a clientele of new and existing business
• Build client base through Virtuoso marketing, local events and personal networking
• Sell Direct Travel strategic supplier products

• Plan itineraries, book tickets, and arrange travel accommodations and services
• Research and provide solutions to client travel-related problems
• Provide excellent customer services to internal and external clients
• Continued education via Virtuoso Travel Academy, internal programs, and travel

Marketing Support

• Assist with Direct Travel marketing campaigns
• Promote Virtuoso-affiliated products and services

Professional Development

• Engage in continuous education through:
• Virtuoso Travel Academy
• Internal training programs
• Personal travel experiences

Going the Extra Mile

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the Travel industry
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in relevant software and booking systems
• Knowledge of Travel regulations and compliance standards
• Must be able to lawfully work in Canada and have unrestricted work authorization for Canada
