The Opportunity
Summary:
We are looking for aData Engineerwith expertise inSnowflaketo join our team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. This role requires strong experience with ETL processes, and big data technologies to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.


What you will do?

Design, develop, and maintain efficientETL/ELT pipelinesfor structured and unstructured data.
Build and optimize data models, ensuring high performance and scalability inSnowflake.
Implement best practices forSnowflake data warehousing, including schema design, partitioning, and performance tuning.
Develop and maintaindata pipelinesusingPython, SQL, or Scala.
Integrate data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party tools.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across platforms.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
Implementdata security, compliance, and governancebest practices.

What Youll need?

3+ years of experience in Data Engineeringor a related field.
Hands-on experience withSnowflake(warehouse design, performance tuning, and data ingestion).
StrongSQLskills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).
Proficiency inPython, Java, or Scalafor data processing and automation.
Experience withETL toolssuch asApache Airflow, DBT, or Talend.
Familiarity withcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and services likeAWS Glue, Lambda, S3, and Redshift.
Knowledge ofbig data technologiessuch asApache Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
Understanding ofdata governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience withreal-time data processing(Apache Flink, Spark Streaming, etc.).
Familiarity withNoSQL databases(MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
Exposure toCI/CD for data pipelinesand containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding ofmachine learning pipelinesand MLOps.
