We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and assisting with reconciliations and reporting.

The Opportunity

  • Monitor accounts payable email inbox and process supplier invoices in a timely manner.
  • Ensure invoices are matched against purchase orders and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Reconcile credit card statements, track charges, and follow up on invoices/receipts for each transaction.
  • Set up new vendors in the system, ensuring all required documents and forms are collected and properly recorded.
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, investigating, following up,and resolving discrepancies related to accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist in preparing the AP aging report and tracking outstanding balances.
  • Assist with the posting of expense reports
  • Assist in preparing vendor payments and ensure accuracy in payment processing.
  • Support month-end duties and reconciliations.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

What youll bring

  • Accounting diploma or certificate is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Prior accounts payable work experience or training is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage deadlines in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
