TRG Staffing Solutions is currently working with a packaging and freight company located in the heart of Mississauga that offers both corrugated packaging and freight solutions. We are looking for an experienced B2B outside sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset. The Outside B2B Sales Representative is a key member of our sales team, responsible for developing new business opportunities. This role requires a go getter mentality, strong relationship-building skills, and effective sales pipeline management skills.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing an effective strategy to drive sales
- Researching competitors' products and prices as well as market conditions
- Actively identify and qualify potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, networking, online research, and industry events.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirement and pain points related to their packaging solutions.
- Develop and present customized packaging solutions that address customer needs and provide value.
- Negotiating POs and close sales agreements to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Strategic account reviews of client's packaging and freight needs
- Possesses a deep understanding of the company's products/services and can effectively communicate their benefits to clients
- Travelling within the assigned territory to conduct face to face meetings with potential customers
- Highschool Education or GED
- Professional sales experience and/or CSR experience
- Proficient at presenting and demonstrating value-based solutions
- Strong planning and time management with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Experience managing a book of business (Preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently, within the sales team, and across organizational boundaries as required
- Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license'
