Your RoleAs an Assistant Terminal Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the overall operation of the terminal.Day to Day

• Manage the business development and customer service operations of the terminal.
• Oversee the logistics scheduling process in a multi-modal transportation operation.
• Develop the annual operating budget and manage monthly revenue and operating expenses.
• Understand the various quality programs and regulatory requirements associated with the terminal operations and ensure compliance is maintained.
• Maintain seamless integration with other departments and locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in terminal or marine operations and/or the grain industry is a plus.
• Strong understanding of inventory management practices and processes.
• Prior experience in a role with fiscal responsibilities, such as budgeting or cost control.
• Leadership experience, specifically in a union environment is an asset.
• Proficient in basic computer operations, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including winter environments, and in environments subject to dust and allergens.
• Proven problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Extended hours and weekend availability may be required.
