Your Role: Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure smooth operations, minimize downtime, and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Equipment & Facility Maintenance
o Perform maintenance and repairs on production machinery, shop equipment, yard facilities, and office infrastructure.
o Diagnose equipment malfunctions and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime.
o Conduct regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment servicing.
o Maintain an inventory of spare parts and consumables for repairs.

Safety & Compliance
o Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety checks.
o Service and inspect fire extinguishers and other safety equipment.
o Maintain documentation of safety inspections and maintenance records.
o Report any unsafe conditions or hazardous situations to the Safety Officer.
Health & Safety Compliance

o Champion safe work practices and enforce Health & Safety policies.
o Participate in safety meetings, equipment inspections, and hazard assessments.
o Report any unsafe conditions or employee concerns to the Health & Safety Officer.

Process Optimization & Collaboration
o Work with the Production team and Management to understand maintenance needs and plan schedules.
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades.
o Support the implementation of new maintenance procedures for better efficiency.
o Assist in other tasks as assigned.

What Were Looking For:
Relevant work experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field.
Knowledge of production equipment, machinery, and industry tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve equipment issues.
Skilled in using measuring instruments, hand tools, and mechanical systems.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production teams and management.
Work is outdoors in variable temperatures.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required 100% of the time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unaided and perform physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications:
Police background check required.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License required.
Own Transportation
