Description The Director of Operations for Maintenance, Enforcement, and Meter Teams at IMPARK oversees the day-to-day and strategic management of these critical departments. This role ensures the seamless operation, safety, and efficiency of parking facilities and systems, while upholding compliance and enhancing customer satisfaction. The position demands a leader capable of managing diverse teams, addressing technical challenges, and driving performance in maintenance, enforcement, and meter operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Operational Leadership:
  • Develop, implement, and oversee operational strategies to ensure efficient and effective parking operations across all assigned locations.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Ensure all parking facilities comply with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
2. Staff Management:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of site managers, supervisors, and support staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development programs to build a high-performing workforce.
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage at all locations, including extended hours and special event requirements.

3. Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining service quality.
  • Analyze financial reports, control expenses, and contribute to revenue growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue revenue opportunities.
4. Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations at parking sites.
  • Implement risk management procedures and conduct regular site audits.
5. Customer Experience:
  • Uphold IMPARK's commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience at all parking facilities.
  • Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and address complaints promptly.

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
  • 10+ years in operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in parking, transportation, or facility management is highly desirable.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional client relationship and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management and reporting.
  • Familiarity with parking technology and operational software is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite 365 (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to oversee operations outside of regular business hours.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong commitment to customer service and safety.
