Empower Me delivers multilingual education, support, and coaching services to ensure underrepresented communities have access to energy, climate, and home retrofit programs.

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Growth, the Senior Relationship & Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue, expanding strategic partnerships, and closing high-value deals for Kambo's consulting projects, Empower Me, and the Home Upgrades Program.
This role is ideal for a high-energy, extroverted business development professional who thrives on building strong relationships, securing new business, and representing Kambo as a trusted industry leader. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and public speaker with lived experience or deep understanding of the challenges and aspirations of immigrants, newcomers, and communities of colour. They should be able to captivate audiences, influence key decision-makers, and drive meaningful partnerships while authentically representing the communities that Kambo serves.
This role will be at the forefront of client acquisition, deal-making, and revenue growth, ensuring Kambo remains a leader in its sector. It requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, outstanding writing skills, and a natural ability to connect with people.
Core Accountabilities
Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify, initiate, and cultivatehigh-value business relationshipswith prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Develop and executestrategic sales and partnership plansthat align with Kambos growth objectives.
- Confidently present and speak at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunitiesto promote Kambos story, mission, and services.
- Leadend-to-end sales cycles, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Craft and delivercompelling proposals, RFP responses, and persuasive sales materialsthat resonate with clients.
- Leverage networking, referrals, and marketing strategies to identify new business opportunities.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Own and drive the sales pipeline,ensuring deals move efficiently through each stage.
- Build and execute atargeted outreach strategyto engage decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Develop customized sales pitches that highlight the unique value of Kambos offerings.
- Work closely with internal teams toalign client needs with Kambos service delivery capabilities.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity tostay ahead of market opportunities.
Operational & Strategic Alignment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamlessclient onboarding and contract execution.
- Assist in the development ofpricing models, deal structures, and project budgets.
- Provideongoing market insights and client feedbackto refine business development strategies.
- Work with the Director of Growth to refine sales and partnership playbooks.
Stakeholder Engagement & Public Representation
- Serve as adynamic and persuasive public speaker,representing Kambo at industry events, panels, and networking engagements.
- Develop and nurture relationships withgovernment agencies, corporate partners, and industry leaders.
- Act as abrand ambassador, effectively articulating Kambos vision, impact, and value proposition.

Qualifications
- A bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in a senior business development role.
- Proven ability to execute growth strategies in complex environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships, developing proposals, and winning new business.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and a passion for client success.
Value Added Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with energy efficiency, clean energy, climate change, and social justice issues, or a willingness to learn.
