Location-Type: Hybrid 4x per week onsite in Windsor, CT

Compensation Range: $55-65/hr W2
Job Description:
We are looking for a Project Manager to drive all project activities through the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role involves applying project management methodologies, enforcing standards, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. You will lead and support project teams, track financial forecasts, and communicate with business and technology stakeholders to keep projects aligned with organizational goals.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Lead project teams and manage project timelines and schedules.
Communicate the business case and help prioritize decisions.
Serve as a liaison between technology and business stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and issues.
Create and maintain project plans, financial forecasts, and track progress.
Collaborate with various teams to define project scope, acquire resources, and ensure project preparedness.
Ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance with organizational standards.
Mentor and guide less-experienced team members, acting as a team leader on specific projects.
Must-Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 5 years of project management experience.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience leading infrastructure-related projects (e.g., network upgrades, hardware procurement, application deployments).
Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels, including Senior Leadership and technical teams.
Intermediate skills in project management tools and techniques.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Nice to Haves:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
Agile certification (Scrum Master, etc.).
10+ years of project management experience, with 2+ years of progressively increasing responsibilities.
Experience working with IT Governance and reporting.
Strong ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations.
