The Role and Your Impact
As a Foreman Team Lead, you will supervise and lead a construction team responsible for erosion and sediment control at residential subdivisions, infrastructure developments, and major construction sites. Your leadership will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations, directly impacting project success and environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a construction team to ensure high performance, accountability, and efficiency
- Coordinate with contractors, operators, and stakeholders to resolve erosion and sediment control challenges
- Assess and mitigate environmental impacts of construction activities on wetlands, streams, and protected areas
- Conduct weekly team meetings to improve workflow, efficiency, and accountability
- Ensure all safety regulations and environmental compliance standards are met at all times
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance site performance
- Provide clear leadership and direction while fostering a professional, team-oriented work culture

Qualifications and Experience
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience in construction, earthmoving, landscaping, or erosion control
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Commitment to safety and compliance, with a strong understanding of workplace hazard management
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varied outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Additional Assets
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering plans and site drawings
- Valid safety certifications, such as First Aid, WHMIS, and CSTS
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word for documentation and reporting
