About the Role
Reporting to the Manger, Philanthropy, the Philanthropy Officer, Engagement and Events will:
- Work with contracted event planners and coordinate internally to help execute CASA's signature events. Ensure effective administration and sound fiscal management of goals and objectives.
- Help develop event budgets by projecting annual revenues/expenses and managing event-related financial goals.
- Provide return on investment analysis for each event and share impacts across teams.
- Provide leaders with a debrief report on all events.
- Draft partnership packages in collaboration with the Philanthropy and Communications teams.
- In collaboration with the Philanthropy team, develop and manage an event calendar to be shared across Philanthropy, Communications and Senior Leadership Team.
- Support the Philanthropy Officer, Donor Engagement with donor cultivation, appreciation and recognition events.
- Support the Philanthropy Officer, Community Fundraising with community events and help build the pipeline.
- Perform regular market research.
- Stay on top of trends and best practices for non-profit event fundraising.
Qualifications
- Event management certificate or equivalent in years of experience will be considered.
- Three to five years of non-profit event fundraising experience. Bonus if you have sponsorship experience with a marketing angle.
