About the Role: The Test Technician II is responsible for conducting routine electrical testing and final inspections of fully assembled transformers. This role ensures customer specifications, engineering requirements, and quality standards compliance. Additionally, the Test Technician II will assist in failure analysis, process control checks, and calibration of testing equipment to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical testing and final inspections of transformers in all test booths.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering standards, and safety protocols.
- Conduct process control checks, monitoring oven logs, pressure gauges, torque wrenches, and equipment settings.
- Identify non-compliant units and document findings, initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed.
- Assist with failure analysis to determine root causes of defects and collaborate with QA and Engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and tools, ensuring accuracy in all test processes.
- Support operator audits and process evaluations, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to ensure seamless quality assurance processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Operator Certificate (Internal certification for CamTran employees).
- Prior experience in electrical testing, quality control, or manufacturing inspections preferred.
- Strong understanding of transformer testing procedures and engineering specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and industry standards.
- Attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Experience using measurement tools and calibration equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate across departments.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Manufacturing floor and test booth environment.
- Exposure to electrical testing equipment and high-voltage systems.
- Requires standing, lifting, and operating testing instruments for extended periods.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when handling high-voltage components.

Shift Schedule:
Day Shift: Monday through Thursday (10-hour shifts). Depending on the business's needs, overtime will be scheduled on Fridays.
