Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent day school from JK-12 that is a caring and thriving community. Our Junior School has recently undergone an incredible transformation. Our beautiful new facilities and oceanfront backdrop is only a small measure of what makes us special. Camp Leaders and Camp Assistants

Summer Break: June 16 - August 22, 2025

Camp Assistant Rate: $21/hour

Camp Leader Rate: $25/hour

What Youll Bring

The successful candidate will be a motivated, self-directed individual with excellent interpersonal skills to establish strong connections with students, parents and colleagues. You will be highly collegial, a collaborative team player and place a high value on delivering an exceptional after school experience to our students. You will bring prior experience working with children in a camp or school setting, along with demonstrated expertise in program planning. You must be 19 years of age or older and hold a valid First Aid Certificate. Candidates with ECE or ECEA certification would be highly beneficial.

You will have a natural ability to connect with others, be tactful and diplomatic in your approach, and ultimately help our students do their best through truth and courage.
