Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Manager of Strategic Finance to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key driver of strategic planning, financial forecasting, and analysis to enable data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization. You will partner closely with business leads and cross-functional teams to assess business performance, model future growth opportunities, and ensure financial strategies align with Springs long-term objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, lending experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders across the organization. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, exhibit a proactive mindset, and play a critical role in shaping the future of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage financial forecasting, short-term and long-term modeling, and long-range planning processes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze key business drivers and financial performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop robust financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate strategic initiatives, including new product analysis, investment opportunities, capital allocation, and lending strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales/Product, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Technology, etc.) to evaluate business strategies and initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of financial dashboard, generate clear and concise financial insights and make recommendations to business leaders and the executive team.
  • Monitor and utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) in financial forecasting and modeling to ensure reasonable and achievable outputs.
  • Support consumer lending projects, including credit risk assessment, loan portfolio analysis, and capital deployment strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Finance & Accounting and Business Intelligence teams to ensure seamless integration between operational and strategic finance processes.
  • Alongside the CFO and other executive leaders, support capital-raising initiatives, including preparing financial materials, managing funding partner relationships, and evaluating funding options.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, consumer lending, investment banking, consulting, or FP&A.
  • Proven experience developing financial models, forecasts, and data-driven analyses, coupled with a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and lending practices.
  • Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with financial and loan management software is a plus.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced reporting techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to executive leadership.
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong relationships across departments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting M&A activity, including due diligence and integration.
  • Background in high-growth or technology-driven industries.
  • Familiarity data query tools to analyze large datasets.
  • Knowledge of lending frameworks, credit risk assessment, and loan portfolio management.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives, automation, or implementation of financial systems.
