POSITION SUMMARY
EnerStar Solutions is looking for an energetic, motivated, and dedicated Administrative Assistant (Intern) with exceptional communication and writing skills to work alongside our administrative teams in a 4 month (May to August), temporary position. The role of the Administrative Assistant (Intern) will be to primarily assist with the transition to a document management platform along with the digitalization and development of various internal workflows.
This is an opportunity for an individual to gain office experience in a temporary role working Monday to Friday (8:00am to 4:30pm). The anticipated position term is starting Monday, May 5 and ending on Friday, August 22, 2025. The position will be located in our Medicine Hat, Alberta corporate office.

Assist in project planning, development, and execution of the document management project
Coordinate communications between team members and stakeholders with consideration to departmental interdependence and efficiencies
Maintain project documentation
Digitize physical permanent records working with office equipment and programs
Familiarity with document management programs and workflows is considered an asset
Present project progress reports as required (Monthly)
Various others administrative tasks may be completed as requested
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education diploma/degree program with a focus on business administration, management, or a related field with the intention to return to studies in September 2025
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office
Exceptional ability to network, develop, establish, and manage business relationships
Ability to interface directly with cross-functional teams and build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments and key business partners
Strong analytical, problem-identification, and problem-solving skills
Ability to engage, lead, and manage teams or meetings
Highly effective organizational skills, negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills, including negotiating with other managers to find innovative solutions to problems
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels within the company

EnerStar will provide the successful candidate with an hourly wage rate of $18.00 hour. This position is full-time, temporary with a term of 16 weeks.
