Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Reports to: General Manager Canada
Department: Human Resources

Location: Brantford ON Canada

General Overview:

Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders to lead the Human Resources function for Rawlings Sporting Goods Co., Inc., Canada. Work in close collaboration with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals. Collaborate with the Corporate HR team on enterprise-wide initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business leaders on people initiatives to drive business growth and support organizational development.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts for Canada region
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new team members
  • Manage the performance management process, including providing performance feedback, resolving conflicts, and conducting compensation analysis.
  • Ensure the development and adherence to organizational policies and programs in compliance with Canadian employment standards.
  • Conduct workplace investigations as needed and proactively address performance issues.
  • Regularly evaluate the compensation strategy to maintain competitive market rates and attractive benefit offerings.
  • Continuously assess internal processes to identify opportunities for streamlining and improving efficiency.
  • Analyze internal metrics and trends to identify and address process inefficiencies.
  • Lead HRIS implementation for Canadian operations.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
  • 5-7 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a global environment
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) preferred
  • HRIS system experience required
  • Ability to multi-task and work under time constraints in high pressure situations.
  • Organized and able to use independent judgment when making decisions.
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality and sensitive information.
  • Thorough knowledge of Canadian labor laws and human resources best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
