Position Overview:

Transdev Ontario, operating under Priority Patient Transfer Services and Voyago brands is hiring for a Supervisor in Kingston ON in support of our growing Non-Emergency Patient Transfer activities.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Patient Transfer Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all Patient Transfer related operations in their region. Primarily focusing on internal logistics and coordinating operations between the Call Takers, Attendants, stretcher and wheelchair vehicles on the road and the external customer. This individual will work closely with Human Resources and Maintenance to support operations while managing the individuals within the operation.

Primary Responsibilities

Operations

  • Completes bi-weekly attendant schedule
  • Ensures base cleanliness by establishing base cleaning schedule
  • Completes at least 4 monthly driver ghostings as required by the Operations Manager
  • Ensures proper inventory levels are maintained
  • Review monthly deficiency report and schedule and conduct required training
  • Vehicle Maintenance
  • Maintains truck maintenance schedule
  • Ensures deep cleans are completed
  • Completes monthly truck audits as required by Operations Manager
  • Ensures all vehicles are scheduled for maintenance in accordance with the Fleet PM reports
  • Ensures all vehicles are properly licensed, meet current regulations and have all required documents on board.

Reporting & Payroll

  • Completes reports per assessment (i.e. uniform allowances, fuel reconciliation) or as directed
  • Control the use of fuel cards
  • Completes payroll input

Requirements

As the ideal candidate you will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to:

  • You have Proven experience within Non Emergency Patient Transfer industry
  • You possess a Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role (Management, Supervisory. Lead Hand or training experience)
  • You hold a Current First Responder Certification or equivalent or willing to upgrade to First Responder with company support.
  • You are proud of your Excellent, strong proven customer service experience
  • You have a Professional telephone manner and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have Time and Stress Management skills
  • You are a superstar in terms of your In-depth knowledge of Eastern Ontario
  • You boast a Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applications
  • You are able to be flexible and available all days of the week including weekends (plus on call rotation) to make the 5 days a week as we do operate 24/7. Standard Hours will be 12:00pm to 8:30pm most shifts.
