Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee retail construction projects across Canada. This role requires frequent travel and hands-on site management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily on-site operations for retail construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control
- Communicate regularly with project managers and stakeholders
- Solve on-site issues and maintain a smooth workflow
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in retail or commercial construction
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to travel frequently and work in different locations across Canada
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and building codes
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and project documents
- Bilingual (English & French) is an asset
