As a Receptionist, you'll be the initial point of contact and "Direct of First Impressions" for customers, visits, and staff. Your warm demeanor, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills will ensure an exceptional experience for everyone who walks through our doors. You will also provide support to the parts department, including assisting with merchandising and inventory.
Job Details
  • Part-time seasonal from April to October
  • Approximately 28 hours per week
  • Days of work will vary from Monday to Saturday of each week based on flexibility and operational needs
  • Required to work statutory holidays when scheduled

Receptionist
Customer Service: Greet customers and visitors with a friendly, professional attitude and direct them to the appropriate department. Answer and transfer calls efficiently, taking messages when necessary.
Administrative: Manage the boardroom calendars and update customer profile and equipment information in the business system. Keep office amenities (coffee, popcorn, copier machines) stocked and functioning, oversee the general maintenance and appearance of the showroom, and handle incoming and outgoing mail including postage and post office drop-offs.
Cash Management: Perform cash balancing, reconciliation, and journal entries. Process customer payments, drop off cash deposits, and manage the petty cash. Complete and file all paperwork related to day-end processing.
Team Collaboration: Ensure seamless communication and provide general administrative support to all departments within the dealership.
Parts Assistant

Merchandising & Promotions: Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandising displays. Promote dealership specials and merchandising campaigns.

Inventory Management: Perform perpetual cycle counts for parts inventory. Order and receive parts from suppliers as required.

Administrative: Send parts invoices to customers and ensure accurate record-keeping of transactions.
RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent GED; diploma in business administration or a related field is an asset.
Experience: 1-2 years of administrative or customer service experience is preferred along with cash handling and balancing experience; previous experience in a parts department is an asset.
Technical Skills: Computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite and windows-based applications.
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, strong time management, ability to multitask, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
People-Focused: Team player, with a friendly, professional attitude and focus on providing exceptional customer service.
