- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Collaborate with department managers to assess staffing needs and workforce planning.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement employee engagement programs to enhance motivation and retention.
- Conduct investigations and resolve workplace disputes, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies in alignment with legal and corporate standards.
- Manage relationships with labor unions (if applicable), including contract negotiations and grievance handling.
- Oversee performance evaluation processes and provide coaching to managers and employees.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
- Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee compensation programs.
- Ensure competitive wage structures aligned with industry benchmarks.
- Handle employee benefits inquiries and resolve any related issues.
- Partner with the safety team to enforce workplace safety programs.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA and other workplace safety regulations.
- Conduct safety training and promote a culture of health and safety.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and labor relations.
- Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with unions and collective bargaining agreements.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
